Morland Road

The project involves the redevelopment of the existing warehouse that functions as a plumbing merchants with 22 apartments to provide much needed regeneration to Ilford Town Centre. Planning Approval was gained with consent from Historic England as the site directly overlies the post-medieval estate of Ilford Lodge, of which the last residence was an 18th Georgian Manor House constructed from yellow brick, consisting of a central block and side wings, all of three stories.  The design of the new block took this historical massing a key factor in the concept design, we also maintained the historic yellow brickwork and side wings whilst incorporating an industrial aesthetic from the later warehouse use.
