The brief was to demolish the existing property, which was originally a rectory for the local church. This site is situated in Green Belt and a conservation area and our first stage was to get approval for the removal and replacement of the existing house in this difficult area.

The proposals required close work with the Local Authority and the Conservation Officer to ensure that the proposed new dwelling was appropriate for the area, which lead to a traditional design being adopted, however in response to the Clients requests we were able to negotiate a modern twist to this building.
