• The brief was to demolish the existing substandard property and replace it with a modern family home. The site is situated in Green Belt area and our brief was to gain approval for the demolition and replacement of the existing house in this difficult area.
  
  The proposals required close work with the Local Authority to ensure that the proposed new dwelling was appropriate for the area, and the final design reflected the traditional farm houses found within the locality. Due to green belt policy size restrictions on the main dwelling, a detached outbuilding was also designed to incorporate additional facilities for the Client including a utility room, a games room and bar/entertainment area.
