The project involved the demolition of an existing bungalow and the creation of two new detached dwellings.

Prior to our commission the site had previously received refusals for early attempts at development by others. Through negotiation and discussion with the Local Authority we were able to produce a proposal that the Planning Department was willing to accept.
This corner plot presented an opportunity to design two individual houses. One was designed in a chalet style to balance with the bungalow adjacent to the east. The other house was designed to reflect the two storey dwellings to the west, both sympathetically responding to the immediate surroundings.
