• The difficult and vacant urban site has been the subject of various failed planning applications as it is adjacent to a main road, railway viaduct and a nearby conservation area.
  
  Form architecture was commissioned to design a mixed used development utilising the entire site to provide a restaurant, offices and residential dwellings on four storeys. The contemporary design was informed by sound analysis of the site constraints to help regenerate this area of Hackney. The design also incorporated the use of a green roof to encourage a bio-diverse environment for wildlife and external landscaping used within the street scene.
