• The site is a former public convenience located on a difficult island site bounded by two main roads. The brief was to provide a landmark build on a main access way into Barnet.
  
  The design was to reflect a contemporary design with the use of large glass panels to provide a transparency at street level with a zinc clad façade to provide a protective skin on this hard site.
  
  This scheme was to provide a café on the ground floor with seating with wi-fi access for internet use on the first floor. Due to the sites difficult nature a traffic management plan and premises servicing plan was required to be produced as part of the application submitted by form.
